Welcome, Chess Enthusiasts!

This section is for folks who know how to play and already play online or in clubs, but are too busy or don't want to devote a LOT of time to chess [LOL]. You might play in tournaments occasionally, but probably not a lot. We give advice and make recommendations here (sometimes).

Not Really Sure What Goes Here!

Not sure what goes here!

Thursday, November 20, 2025

In theory there is a world of difference between people who are merely curious about chess, those who have been playing for a while (sometimes decades) just for fun, and those who are dedicated to compete and/or improve their game (some would say obsessed). I have included links to some legacy web pages from this site which you may find helpful, but whoever maintains the website in the future will decide what kind of content to put here! - Don Smallidge
